Tom has been a licensed Realtor in Kansas for 32 years.  He is an experienced professional in commercial/industrial transactions as well as in residential sales.  His primary focus was in commercial and industrial real estate in Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri prior to transitioning to the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development as President/CEO in 2002.  In 2012 he pulled up his roots and moved to Junction City Kansas to become President/CEO of the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce in charge of the chamber, the economic development department, convention and visitor’s bureau and the military affairs council.  In 2015 after retiring from the “Chamber World” he picked up his real estate career again.

Tom has been a two-time chairman of the Franklin County Commission.  He served the City of Ottawa as a Commissioner, Mayor, and Mayor Pro Tem. Tom has served on many local and statewide boards of directors. He has been a Rotarian for 20 years, serving as President of his club twice, and is a Paul Harris Fellow.  He is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  He enjoys visiting his four children and their spouses as well as his nine Grandkids and getting in a round of golf from time to time.  Tom says “life is good and it gets better when you have the satisfaction of helping people find the perfect property for their business or the home that enhances their family’s activities throughout the various stages of life.”
