An experienced successful salesperson and KS & MO real estate broker, Steve Kornspan has focused on remaining at the cutting-edge of sales and industry trends since the beginning of his career. For more than two decades, he’s been at the top of his profession, prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KC Realty as a managing broker. Steve co-founded Dodson Real Estate while Managing Century 21 All-Pro. In responding to customer needs and based on observations made while working at several other Kansas City brokerages, Steve created Home Spot Realty. After focusing on continuous improvement, one of his ideas was realized when he developed a streamlined, process-oriented approach to real estate sales. His current passion resides within the Commercial Real Estate arena.

As founder and president of Home Spot Realty, he focused on helping his professional real estate staff assist others. Serving on the board of directors for the Kansas Association of Realtors

Previously served as a state-appointed representative for the KS Attorney General Senior Consumer Protection Advisory Council for the state of Kansas

Working with the KC Regional Association of Realtors as a member of the Government Affairs Committee, Technology and Member Services Advisory Group, and Strategic Planning Committee

Previously served on the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners where he was been appointed to the Commission on Aging

Participating in the Matrix Users Advisory Group for Heartland MLS

Previously served on several local chambers of commerce, including the Olathe Chamber of Commerce, which is ranked in the top 1 percent of chambers nationwide

Previously Served on the board of directors for Kansas Children’s Services League, and held chairperson of the Johnson County Community Council position


Steve takes seriously the responsibility of a real estate broker. In addition to building an innovative brokerage from the ground up and managing a Century 21 franchise, he regularly participates in continuing education and maintains a number of industry certifications.

Steve was amazing! If you are looking for a fantastic agent call Steve. My wife and I were very pleased with him and his entire staff. He goes out of his way to make it easy. Here is an example. When we sold our house we were required to put in a radon mitigation system. Well my wife and I both work and the installer could only come during the week (typical). Steve had his assistant come and wait for the installer. We did not even have to take off work. We recommend Steve
