June 2017 Kansas City Housing Market Report from the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® and Heartland Multiple Listing Service.

Highlights from the June data include:

June 2017 average sales price for new & existing homes combined ($241,567) is 5.4% higher than June 2016.

There were 4,264 home sales (new & existing combined) for June 2017 – 3.2% lower than last June (4,406).

Home inventory (new & existing combined) for June 2017 (7,446) is 22.2% lower compared to June 2016.

The supply of new and existing homes for June 2017 is 2.2 months representing a home market favoring sellers.
